Applications are invited from male Indian citizens fulfilling the eligibility criteria for recruitment to the post of Constable (Tradesman) in SSB. The last date of receipt of application form is 10/12/2010.

• Constable (Tradesman) : 1022 posts (SC-143,ST-69, OBC-251,UR-475, Ex.-SM-84) in various trades , Pay Scale : Rs. 5200- 20200 Grade Pay Rs.2000/-, Age : 18-23 years.

Application Fee : Application fee will be Rs.50/- for candidates belonging to General and OBC categories in the form of Crossed Bank Draft or Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of Accounts Officer, SSB, SHQ Gorakhpur. No fee will be charged from SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen.

How to Apply : Eligible and desirous candidates should send their applications in the prescribed proforma with attested passport size photographs duly affixed on the application form and admit card and duly completed in all respect to Dy. Inspector General, SSB Gorakhpur, Marketing Bhavan, F.C.I. Complex, PO- Fertilizer Factory, Urvarak Nagar, Gorahpur (UP) 237007. The last date of receipt of application form is 10/12/2010.  (Last date is 17/12/2010 for candidates from far-flung areas)

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will hold on Sunday, the 12/12/2010 an open compettitive examination for recruitment to the post of Sub-Inspecor  in various Central Police Organisations (CPO) :

• Sub-Inspectors (Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted in SSB and BSF/  Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted in CISF, ITBP and CRPF):   2275 posts (CRPF-692, BSF-557, CISF-500, ITBP-82, SSB-444), Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-, Qualification : Gradute from  a recognised university, Age : 20-25 tears as on 02/11/2010

Fee : Rs. 100/- in the form of Central Recruitment Fee Stamps available at Post Office OR by SBI Challan OR Online payment through SBI Account. No fee for SC/ST/PH/Ex-Servicemen and Women candidates.

Closing Date : The last date for receipt of application in the commission will be 02/11/2010. For those candidates who are living in remote areas, the last date will be 09/11/2010. Candidates can apply Online also at http://ssconline.nic.in/
